Match worn Israel 2018/19 away shirt, worn by versatile defender/midfielder Sheran Yeini #12 in the Euro 2020 qualification match against Latvia away on June 7, 2019 at the Daugava Stadium in Riga. Yeini played the full match as Israel ran out comfortable 3-0 winners through an Eran Zahavi hat-trick. The shirt is unwashed and was given to me by Yeini directly after the match.
Having not made an appearance for the national team in exactly two years, Yeini has become a key player for the national team after new coach Andi Herzog took over in the summer of 2018. He has since started and played 90 minutes in every single match (10 in total) - one of the few players to do so. In the opening match of the Euro 2020 qualifiers, a 1-1 draw at home against Slovenia, Yeini provided an assist for Zahavi's equaliser, though he was also directly at fault for the goal conceded. As of the writing of this post, the Maccabi Tel Aviv captain has made 28 appearances for the national team (no goals).
