Sheriff Tirsapol 2013/14 away - Kobi Moyal #21 (Europa League)

Match worn Sheriff Tiraspol 2013/14 long sleeve away shirt, worn by Israeli defensive midfielder Kobi Moyal #21 in the Europa League group stage away match against Norwegian side Tromsø on October 3, 2013 at Alfheim Stadion. Moyal started and played the full match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Moyal joined Sheriff from his boyhood club Beitar Jerusalem in summer of 2013, signing a one-year contract. While he wasn't a key player for them in the Moldovan league during the season, making only 14 appearances (and scoring one goal), he was a key player in their European campaign as he started in all 8 of Sheriff's Europa League matches, including the two matches in the qualifying round. He won the Moldovan league with Sheriff at the end of the 2013/14 season, and returned to Israel after, signing with Maccabi Haifa.

Sheriff Tiraspol, considered the dominant football club in Moldovan football, had a respectable European campaign in 2013/14 as they finished in third place with 6 points in Group K with Liverpool, Anzhi Makhachkala and Tromsø. While they have never made the Champions League, this was their third campaign in the Europa League group stages.

In terms of design, this is one of the favourite shirts in my collection, as it is simple yet very elegant and beautiful with the contrasting black and bright yellow colours and vertical stripes .
