Match worn/issued Hapoel Be'er Sheva 2016/17 home shirt, issued to or worn by Israeli left back Ben Turjman #3 in the Europa League away match against Inter Milan at the San Siro on September 15, 2016. Turjman came on as a substitute in the 85th minute, as Hapoel Be'er Sheva sensationally stunned Inter 2-0 at their home ground on the first matchday. They also beat them 3-2 in the home fixture two months later. These two sensational victories against Inter are by far the club's greatest achievements in European competitions. They also defeated Southampton in the group stages before being eliminated by Besiktas in the Round of 32, in what was the club's greatest ever European campaign.
This match was Turjman's debut in European competitions, and his single appearance in the group stage as he was second choice left back behind Hungarian Mihaly Korhut. However, he would go on to start both of the Round of 32 matches against Besiktas, even providing an assist in the return leg, as Be'er Sheva lost both matches. Having been second choice and out on loan throughout his time at the club, he transferred to Bnei Yehuda at the end of the season, but re-joined Be'er Sheva a season and a half later in January 2019.
