Bnei Yehuda 2014/15 away - Kęstutis Ivaškevičius #16 (Liga Leumit)

Match worn/issued Bnei Yehuda 2014/15 black away shirt, worn by or issued to Lithuanian midfielder Kęstutis Ivaškevičius #16 in the second half of the 2014/15 Liga Leumit (the Israeli 2nd division) season.

Nicknamed "Kosta" by the Bnei Yehuda fans, as his name is not simple to pronounce, the central midfielder spent 5 seasons with the Tel Aviv minnows (2010-2015) and became a fan favourite. His time at the club came to a sad end, however: in the unfortunate 2013/14 season, not only did Bnei Yehuda get relegated from the Israeli top division for the first time in 12 years, but Kosta was also badly injured during a derby match with Hapoel Tel Aviv. As a result, he missed 15 months on the sidelines, and only returned towards the second half of the 2014/15 season. While Bnei Yehuda won the Liga Leumit and were promoted back to the Israeli top division at the end of the season, Kosta would end up retiring in the summer at the age of only 30 as a result of the injury he suffered. He made a total of 137 appearances and scored 5 goals for the club in all competitions, making him the foreigner with the 4th most appearances in the club's history.

Design-wise, the shirt is one of the most beautiful and unique shirts I own, with the club name "BNEI YEHUDA" printed in small orange font all over the front of the shirt, getting more visible towards the bottom. It is the only macron shirt I own and also the only shirt I have from the Liga Leumit.

Kosta playing for Bnei Yehuda in the black away shirt, in what would be one of his last appearances for the club and overall.
