KAA Gent 2016/17 home - Rami Gershon #55 (Belgian Pro League)

Match worn and dirty Gent 2016/17 home shirt, worn by Israeli center back Rami Gershon #55 in the 1-0 home win over rivals Standard Liege, his former team, on October 27, 2016. Gershon played the full 90 minutes in this match.

This was Rami's last season at Gent, where he had the best spell of his career and was first choice center back as the team won the Belgian League for the first time in their history in his first season at the club in 2014/15, as well as making a very impressive run in the Champions League in 2015/16 and in the Europa League in this season, eliminating heavyweights Tottenham in the Round of 32 before being eliminated by compatriots Genk in the Round of 16, with Rami playing a key role in this campaign as he played in all but 2 of the 12 Europa League matches. After a total of 8 years in Belgium, including 101 appearances (scoring a single goal) for Gent, Rami returned home to Israel the following season, signing with Maccabi Haifa.

While I am a massive fan of Rami Gershon, I am personally not a big fan of these Jartazi kits, and particularly the many sponsors around the shirt and the lack of the player's last name on the back.
